At Thrive Counseling, we want your experience to be as smooth and transparent as possible. Below is everything you need to know about insurance, billing, and policies - no fine print surprises.

Insurance

We gladly accept the following insurances:

  • Medicaid / Centennial Care

  • Presbyterian / Magellan

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Optum / UnitedHealthcare

  • GEHA

  • UMR

  • Cigna

  • Molina

Please note: We do not currently accept Medicare.

Self-Pay

We gladly accept self-pay clients.

Current Rates:

  • $90 / 45-minute session

  • $120 / 60-minute session

Intake Attendance & Cancellation Policy

We value your commitment and aim to make services fair and accessible. To keep schedules smooth, we ask that you follow this policy:

Missed Intake Without Contact

If you miss your intake session and do not contact us within 24 hours, a $75 no-show fee will be charged unless the absence is due to a documented emergency.

Late Cancellations

Cancelling any session with less than 24-hour notice or no-showing will incur a $62.50 fee.

Rescheduling

To avoid fees, reschedule within the same week if schedules allow. Contact your therapist and our office as soon as possible.

Emergencies

We understand emergencies happen. Notify us as soon as possible to discuss whether a fee can be waived.

By scheduling an appointment, you agree to this policy.

Good Faith Estimate - No Surprises Act

Your rights under the law are as follows:

  • You have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before your appointment.

  • This estimate covers services reasonably expected for your care.

  • If you are uninsured or self-paying, you can request a Good Faith Estimate at any time.

  • If you receive a bill $400 or more above your estimate, you may dispute the charges.
